Founded in 2007 in Munich, Culturetranslate is now based in Frankfurt and has its start-up phase firmly behind it, having become a permanent fixture in the games and the translation industries. We see ourselves as a connector between these two areas, providing some of the best translation services on the market – tailor made to the needs of the computer games sector.

Culturetranslate is based on a core localisation team, drawing on the skills of translation, games and finance specialists. Many of us have been here since the early years, embodying a company ethos that is all about finding, nurturing and keeping talent.

Some of our founding members of staff have considerable expertise in the recruitment industry, and this has allowed us to source and employ some of the best games localisation specialists out there. By keeping these high-value workers busy and happy, our company has grown fast to reach its current place at the top of the games localisation sector.

We have worked with almost all major video games producers and publishers on popular games; many of our current clients are big names in the industry, and our staff is experienced at dealing with some with the highest-quality games on the market.
